How converterepub handles conversion files, contact messages and basic site data
2026/07/08
converterepub is an ebook conversion tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the converter, browse the site, read format guides or contact us.
Some simple conversions can run in your browser. In those cases, the file does not need to leave your device for the browser-side conversion step.
More complex conversions may be sent to a server-side conversion endpoint. Those files are processed only to create the requested output file. converterepub is not designed as file storage, backup or long-term hosting.
Do not upload files that contain sensitive personal information unless you trust the conversion endpoint you are using.

We use information to:
Depending on deployment settings, converterepub may use infrastructure, email, analytics, authentication, storage or conversion providers. These providers process data only as needed to operate the site.
If ads or Google advertising services are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, browser information and previous visits to this site or other sites to serve, measure and personalize ads.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies in your browser when ads are shown. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to show ads based on your visits to converterepub and other websites.
You can change how Google personalizes ads in Google Ad Settings. You can also learn about broader interest-based advertising choices at aboutads.info, where available.
If you are in a region that requires consent for advertising or analytics cookies, you may see consent controls before optional cookies are used. Your browser settings may also let you block or delete cookies.
Contact messages may be kept long enough to answer and improve support. Temporary conversion files should be deleted by the deployed conversion service after processing or expiration. The exact retention window depends on deployment configuration.
You can avoid sending a file to a server by using browser-native routes when available. You can also contact us to request deletion of support messages or ask how a specific deployment handles temporary files.
We use reasonable technical measures to protect the site, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. Avoid uploading DRM-protected, confidential or legally restricted files.
We may update this policy as converterepub changes. The current version will always be posted here.
Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page or by email at support@converterepub.com.
